Over the course of a week, you will work in a multidisciplinary, international team to address the challenges we face right now in our world is disrupted by COVID-19.How can we go beyond mere survival, and truly thrive online? Dedicated teams of students will explore the impact of living online in one of three tracks focusing on education, the digital workplace and our communities, all while ensuring that our unique planet is thriving too!

Airbus Quantum Computing Challenge
Together with Airbus, we designed and implemented every stage of the year-long challenge to appeal to a specialised global community of experts, researchers, academics and start-ups. At least 3 start-ups were created as a result of the challenge and the winners were announced at Q2B2020, one of the world's leading quantum computing conferences. Discover more in our case study.

Newcastle office moves to TusPark-Barclays Eagle Lab
We set up an office at TusPark-Barclays Eagle Lab in Newcastle - featured by WIRED magazine as one of the top co-working spaces for tech entrepreneurs in the UK. TusPark UK is part a dynamic science and innovation ecosystem owned by China’s Tsinghua University. Barclays Eagle Labs is the largest co-working, collaboration and incubator networks for start-ups and scale-ups in the UK.

In partnership with the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC), we launched a first of its kind event bringing together engineering and technology leaders from the private sector and education to exchange on critical issues in a unique, interactive and creative event. Airbus GEDC Diversity Award for Engineering Education
We worked with Airbus to develop the Airbus GEDC Diversity Award in partnership with the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC). The award was designed to shine a light on successful grass roots projects that inspire students from all profiles and backgrounds to study and succeed in engineering.

A new Petrus office: Bucharest, Romania
We like keeping on with trends, we enjoy being international, we value diversity, and we are always open to new challenges. All these plus that one of our team members was from Romania made us pursue the opportunity to grow our team and add a ‘tech twist’ to our client services. Our Bucharest staff brought to the team new skills and specialisations, mostly in the areas of data, digital solutions, and graphic design.
2008
Airbus Fly Your Ideas inspires students from around the world
We launched the first Airbus Fly Your Ideas student innovation and sustainability challenge which went on to attract 22,000+students from 700+ universities across 100+ countries over 6 editions. The competition was held in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) from 2012.
