Join Siemens Sustainability Design Hack: Europe Realize LIVE

The Sustainability Design Hack at Siemens’ Realize LIVE 2024 in Europe addresses sustainability challenges with creative, impactful solutions. This is a great opportunity for university students to team up and collaborate, learn more about Siemens’ NX software and sustainability, and have a positive influence on their community. This 48-hour engineering design hack with Siemens’ NX and Andretti is proudly sponsored by Microsoft and Deloitte’s Smart Factory Believers Program. Open to teams of up to 5 university students from any discipline, participants will be optimizing a design for improved sustainability and operations with Andretti. Teams should apply to participate by: May 17th at 11:59 pm CEST

Note: 2 members of each selected team will be invited to join Realize LIVE in Munich between 3-5 June 2024. Siemens will cover the cost of accommodation (2 hotel rooms for 4 nights in Munich) and conference registration fee (including conference provided food, on-site entertainment, access to industry sessions, the Solutions Center and more). Participants are required to cover their own travel to Munich.

Airbus Digital Challenge

Selected from over 1,700 registrants, during this 3-day online event, 80 participants representing 20 countries formed international, interdisciplinary teams to address a real-world digital challenge with support from world-class coaches. Participants learned new skills, discovered exclusive industry insights and grew their network among digital enthusiasts, experts and leaders while enhancing their current and future employability.

ICL 2024 & IGIP International Conference on Engineering Pedagogy

On behalf of the organising team, we are happy to announce that the international scientific conference ICL2024  "Future-Proof Engineering Education for Global Responsibility" will be held at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) on September 25-27, 2024, in Tallinn, Estonia.

ICL2024 focuses on modern learning-centred teaching of engineering and STEM, and interdisciplinary collaborative learning. Peer-reviewed articles will be published by the Springer Publishing House and cited by Scopus and Web of Science. Interest in the conference is high, with abstracts received from more than 40 countries. Alongside the event, the Estonian STEM festival will be organised at TalTech for school children and students to raise interest in STEM.

Submission of proposals for round tables, workshops, tutorials is still open and late paper submission will be opened soon.  Kindly follow the instructions and information provided on the ICL2024 webpage.

This resource is designed to help engineering educators integrate sustainability-related content into teaching.
